Do You Qualify?

The ECO4 scheme has specified rules for grant eligibility:

  • Your home will typically need to have an EPC rating of D, E, F, or G. 
  • Ownership of the home is required
  • You have a higher chance to be eligible if your property does not have central heating, or it needs to rely on inefficient heating that may include electric storage heaters, coal, oil, and LPG systems.

At least one member of your household is currently in receipt of qualifying benefits.

If not eligible, you can still qualify through the LA Flex scheme. The LA Flex scheme allows your local council to qualify you if you are in need of financial assistance to upgrade your home’s heating system or someone in your household is vulnerable to the cold because of age or illness.
